A timetable holds data about students and staff. EDUos Web is built from the ground up to protect it.
Sign in without a password
EDUos Web has no passwords. So there is nothing to guess, leak or reuse.
How teachers and students sign in to EDUos Web
- Open EDUos Web on the computer.
- Scan the QR code with the EDU App.
- Confirm with the two digits on your screen.

- Only through the EDU App, also to sign in to EDUos Web, which is also their learning environment. The app is secured with a passkey and a PIN, Face ID or fingerprint
- Timetablers and administrators
- Their choice: a passkey or SURFconext, with their own institution’s account

A database of its own for every school
Every school is a separate environment with its own database and its own access credentials. Timetables, attendance and student data from different schools are never stored together.
One account for all your schools
Everyone has one EDUos account, with a membership per school. Work or study at several schools and you switch schools without a second account.
Integrations: EDUos Web leads
Partners have no free access to your data. EDUos Web fetches and delivers, and only to partners EDUos has approved: per school and per data set.
Everything recorded
- Every sign-in and every school switch
- Every change to the timetable, including changes made by an integration
- When an administrator views the system as a user
- Every grant of access to an integration partner
As little data as possible
- The sign-in system knows no names, only a random username
- When an account is deleted, its data is anonymised at every school
- The app keeps your timetable only on your phone and clears it when you sign out
- Codes to activate the app are single-use and expire quickly
